Energy data
SolarMiner needs to see how much power your system is currently exporting or importing.
Via an inverter, smart meter or energy manager with a suitable local interface.Check which solar interfaces, Bitcoin ASICs and mining coins work with SolarMiner, and what you need for your own node.
Compatibility is not decided by a single logo. It comes from the connection between energy data, your node and your miner. Check each part step by step.
You do not need to be a network expert. Just check each of these three requirements before installing.
SolarMiner needs to see how much power your system is currently exporting or importing.
Via an inverter, smart meter or energy manager with a suitable local interface. The node connects energy data and miners, then applies your rules automatically.
It is self-hosted on your own always-available device in your local network.Depending on the coin, you use a Bitcoin ASIC or your existing PC.
The model, firmware and interface determine which controls are available.Set up SolarMiner on your own host. Then connect your energy data and miner, and decide when your solar surplus should be used.
Search for your exact model and check whether it uses Bitmain stock firmware or Braiins OS.

* Dynamic power control requires a model, control board, hashboard and PSU combination supported by Braiins OS. With stock firmware, SolarMiner controls start/stop and the pool route, but not a dynamic power target. Braiins device list ↗
Bitcoin runs on an ASIC. The PC Agent controls the remaining CPU and GPU paths.
Search by manufacturer or device type. The exact model, firmware and local access are what matter.
Before installing, confirm that your model provides the required measurements and that local access is enabled.

The searchable ASIC directory on this page lists the exact Bitmain models registered in the node. Stock firmware provides pool routing and start/stop. Dynamic power targets require Braiins OS and a model, control board, hashboard and PSU combination supported by Braiins.
Six established paths are currently available: Bitcoin on a compatible ASIC, Monero on a CPU, and Pearl, Ravencoin, Ethereum Classic and Quantus on a compatible GPU through the PC Agent. Hardware, drivers, wallet and pool configuration must match the selected coin.
Not necessarily. The directory lists recorded interfaces; it is not a final certification list. Check whether your exact model provides local measurements through a documented interface, then compare its model and firmware with the SolarMiner documentation.
That depends on the device adapter. SolarMiner itself runs on your own host. Your device interface determines whether energy data is read locally or through an external service.
